Mentorship is a two-way street that benefits both mentors and mentees. As a mentor, high school students have the opportunity to:

  • Develop leadership skills
  • Gain valuable teaching and communication experience
  • Make a positive impact in their community
  • Build meaningful relationships with younger peers
  • Learn and grow from the mentorship experience

How to become a Mentor

Becoming a mentor in our Youth Mentor Program is a rewarding and fulfilling experience. High school students who are interested in becoming mentors can get involved by:

  1. Application: Complete our mentor application process, including an interview and training session.
  2. Matching: Once accepted into the program, mentors are carefully matched with mentees based on interests, backgrounds, and compatibility.
  3. Engagement: Mentors engage with their mentees through regular meetings, activities, and communication, under the guidance of program coordinators.

K-12 Tutoring:

Peer-Based Learning: Math, Science and English tutoring sessions conducted by slightly older students who have excelled academically help younger children understand complex concept in a relatable manner.
