Speech & Debate Camp 2024

Over 55 kids participated in the 2024 Summer Speech & Debate Camp hosted by the Poorna Foundation. Around 30 middle schoolers learned public speaking skills, while high school students honed their abilities in Public Forum (PF) and Cross-Examination (CX) debate formats.
The Poorna Foundation proudly hosted the 2024 Summer Speech & Debate Camp. Over 55 middle school and high school student participated. This two week-long event offered an opportunity for around 30 middle schoolers to develop essential public speaking skills, equipping them with confidence and effective communication techniques. Meanwhile, high school students dive deeper into advanced debating, sharpening their prowess in Public Forum (PF) and Cross-Examination (CX) debate formats. The camp was a remarkable success, fostering a spirit of learning, collaboration, and intellectual growth among the young attendees.
